Preformed Reality is a textually and visual research in and outside the walls of the Old City in Jerusalem. It’s a place where ideas of believe and reality lie far apart. The high perspective makes me an observer. This transforms the city into a structure. Their swarming mass is a countless collection of singularities. In this space, a shape is produced by crossing pathways, they weave places together.  The things you see from higher up, disappear when you go down again. What defines "normal" in this daily life? A image captures parts of reality but also allows to express someones subjective point of view. But to what extant can we trust an image to show something truthful? We can use the camera as an instrument for recording objects and situations, often through exploration. Things we photograph are things that catch our eye because they might be 'abnormal', or things we didn’t notice before. Our own understanding of everyday life is considered normal,  but if circumstances change, we risk losing sight of this typical daily. It takes repetition and investigation to get into this reality. In this paper I show my search in and around the Old City in Jerusalem and I try to make sense of this new personal everyday reality.
